Istropolitana Project is a unique international festival of theatre schools organized by the Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava with a two-year periodicity. The upcoming year of festival is scheduled from 12th to 17th of June 2020.
The project gives young theatre performers a unique opportunity to confront their work, opinions and production with the audience and professionals. It is the only one of its kind in the region of Central Europe, where it has long been a stable space for reflecting primarily theatrical art not only among young filmmakers, but also from the public. It is a platform for future professionals to meet with authorities from professional scenes, with their audience and their foreign colleagues, thus giving natural space for developing international art projects.
