Lab Theatre for visitors with special needs is a project aimed at opening the premises of the Theatre Studio of DF VŠMU to blind, deaf and immobile spectators who, due to their physical handicap, have special needs in fulfilling their cultural rights.
For the immobile audience, there is a monthly theatre offer in the Lab Theatre at Svoradova 4, which is adapted to the immobile audience. The availability of the performances can be found in the monthly posters of the Theatre Lab.
For deaf spectators there is a currently prepared performance under the name David Harrower: Knives in chickens (Nože v sliepkach) thanks to the help of the civic association Myslim – the center of the deaf culture, which provided shadow interpreting into the Slovak sign language.
Performance Silence (Ticho in Slovak language), which we performed for deaf spectators in the 2018/2019 season.
